We take children from the age of 5, and up to GCSE in Arabic, which has been very successful recently, with students attaining grades A & A* throughout

Our School

The school was established in 1994 with a total of 10 students, the school sessions were held at Holloway Colleges Prayer Room. Today we have over 120 students (that is around 40 families) now at Strodes College (Saturday Weekend School) with teaching staff of around 15 including helpers.

We hire nine classes from Strodes College and run classes to teach children to read and understand Arabic and learn and understand Quran with Tajweed from a young age. Now we also teach Islamic Studies from Reception 2 class. We take children from the age of 5 and have a GCSE Arabic class which has been very successful in the past with A* & A grades. In 2016 all our GCSE student results in Arabic were A*. Congratulations to the teachers, students and parents.

Children are placed in classes according to ability and not age as we have both Arabs and non-Arabs in our school. It has been running for over twenty years and we have been at this location for the majority of this time. Classes run from 8:50am until 12:50pm with a half hour break 10:30 – 11:00. The school runs during Term-time only.

School fees are £130 per child per term.

During the Winter months we hold jammaah thuhr prayers in the school hall for all students, staff and parents.

We hold Judo and Karate classes for both boys, girls and parents between 2.00pm and 4.00pm at the Sports Hall in Strode’s College, we have a mixed age group and abilities range from novice to 12th mon (green belt), we encourage our students to practice sports whenever they can and attend the BJA competitions when they are ready.
