overview of this weeks lesson:
the class listened to a nasheed about the five pillars of islam, then one about the names of the five daily prayers:
- fajr- 2 rakaahs
- duhr- 4 rakaahs
- asr- 4 rakaahs
- maghrib- 3 rakhaas
- isha- 4 rakhaas
they went through how many units (rakaahs) each prayer has
they were reminded that Allah has 99 names and focused on 2- the creator (al-khaliq) and the merciful (al rahman).
the story of the man and the dog as well as the woman and the cat was revisited.
